When you approach Knight Hill Winery, the first thing you notice is the awesome, 360 degree view of Yakima Valley Vineyards and Orchards. As you enter the winery (formerly a horse barn), the aroma of fermenting/aging wine takes over and you find yourself smack dab in the middle of this winemaking adventure.
Driving Directions
From Seattle: Take I-90 east toward Ellensburg. There turn off onto I-82 to toward Yakima and take exit 50 and go left over the freeway. Go straight to the stop sign at Yakima Valley Hwy. Cross Yakima Valley Highway into Buena and continue until you reach Knight Hill Rd on your right. Turn right and go all the way up the hill to the T at Lombard Loop Rd. Go right onto the dirt road and continue till you see the red barn on your right.
From Spokane: Take I-90 west toward Ellensburg. Then follow the steps above form I-82.
From Portland: Take I-84 East to US 97 North. In Toppenish, US 97 turns into WA-22 at the first intersection in Toppenish. Go through the intersection and stay on WA-22 all the way through town. Cross I-82 and to Buena Rd. and follow into Buena. Once you curve into Buena, you will pass a library (rt) and post office (left). Not too much farther you will see our sign directing you to turn right on Knight Hill Road. Go to the top of the hill and turn right at our next sign.
